DCR Woodlot Meeting June 22

The Campbell River District is planning to put on a virtual woodlot program meeting on the afternoon of June 22.

This will be an afternoon virtual meeting with topics including old growth deferrals, MaMu, First Nation referrals and suggested practices for updating woodlot licence plans.  We will be able to discuss topics at the District level.  Please let me know if you have any topics you would like to make time to discuss.

A second day is planned to be a field tour to Quadra Island with Jerry Benner looking at how to manage fire hazards on woodlots related to nearby communities.  An upcoming email will provide updates and a date.
