REMINDER: 'Old & Big Tree' Photo Contest - Spring

This is a reminder to send Lisa Marak photos of ‘big and old’ trees on your woodlot before March 31st for the contest (details below) and submission in the Spring edition of the Almanac. If you can’t get out to your woodlot for photos because of the snow, I’ll be running another contest summer/fall 2022.

 To show how much woodlot licensees like big trees, we are running a ‘Old and Big Tree’ photo contest. Please send me any photos of big trees with an explanation of why the tree is still standing. $100 prizes for the biggest, oldest and most unique reason. They will be shared on the woodlot Instagram page to promote woodlot forest management as well as in the Almanac.

Please send them to me before March 31st.
